Evan Bieber - Market Kids
Release Date: August 8, 2025

Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Evan Bieber releases his new single “Market Kids” on August 8. “Market Kids” is a bright, punchy indie pop track about being broke in New York City and still feeling completely in love. Inspired by Evan’s real experience moving to Brooklyn with his partner, it tells the story of sharing a tiny apartment on Linden Street, sleeping on a mattress on the floor, and spending the last few dollars on takeout. Co-written with producer Rob Chiarappa, the track blends the upbeat, pop-forward sheen of The 1975 with the driving percussion and nostalgic rush of Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark.”

At its heart, “Market Kids” is about laughing through the chaos, finding joy when there isn’t much else, and remembering what really matters.

BIO

Evan Bieber is a Brooklyn-based indie artist turning everyday moments into emotionally honest, cinematic songs. His music blends the warmth of singer-songwriter storytelling with indie pop polish and alternative edge, drawing comparisons to Turnover, Runnner, and The 1975.

Since his debut EP Reckless (2022) and full-length Maybe I Thought About You Once (2023), Evan’s work has been featured in New Scene Magazine, Canvas Rebel, and played on indie radio across the U.S. When he’s not making music, he works as a special education teacher and formerly hosted the PopRocks podcast. At its core, Evan’s songwriting is about being vulnerable, human, and unafraid to tell the truth even when it’s messy.
